Rainbow London wedding
Rainbow London Wedding
A riot of colour is the only way to describe Natalie and Henry’s incredible rainbow London wedding day that reflected their personalities perfectly.
I’d been looking forward to this wedding all year after meeting them for their engagement shoot in the summer. I just knew it was going to wonderful and it did not disappoint.
Their home, where Natalie got ready, was everything I love. Loads of little bit and pieces that all tell a story about them. It was a visual feast and a rainbow of colours that set the tone for the whole day. So much to look at and take in … I could have stayed and shot in their house all day!
After a relaxed morning, where Natalie even made us all scrambled eggs, the time had come to head across London to Islington Town Hall where they were getting married. The taxi was late and the traffic was awful but we all managed to stay reasonably calm as we made our slow journey over the city. Only a little late, the time had come for her to marry her boy.
It was lovely and very moving ceremony and Natalie and Henry danced out with joy and colour in their hearts !
I LOVE Islington town hall. It has the most wonderful lines and shapes and so many opportunities for some epic photos, which we took advantage of, I do love a bit of symmetry and this wonderful venue has it in spades.
We all hopped on the bus and headed over to Balham Bowls Club. A quirky and colourful venue just off the high street, where we were met with music and drinks. The rainbow of colour continued inside with so many beautiful touches. The both worked so hard to make the day reflect their personalities. My favourite being the cake table only to be topped by the AMAZING table plan. Glitter and cats in hats and all sorts ! Quite the most wonderful table plan I think Ive seen.
